The No. 1 Edina Hornets (1-0) face the No. 3 Eden Prairie Eagles in one of the biggest matchups of the regular season.

Defeated No. 3 Eden Prairie (1-1) 35-14 with four touchdown receptions from senior Meyer Swinney, including an 85-yard touchdown to start the second half.

Defeated No. 8 Rosemount (1-1) 24-21.
Running back Sam Ripplinger ran for his second touchdown of the night in the fourth quarter for the win. He finished with 143 rushing yards.
Defeated No. 10 Prior Lake (1-1) 28-21.
Senior running back TJ Clark ran for three touchdowns as the Sabers sperated themselves from the Lakers in the second and fourth quarters.
Lost to Blaine (2-0) 23-13.
The Class 6A defending champions fall as Blaine senior running back Zach Larson finds the end zone twice, and the Bengals are 2-0 to start the season.
Defeated No. 11 Wayzata (1-1) 28-14.
Minnetonka quarterback Caleb Francois continues to have a strong season. Tonight he had three rushing touchdown. The Skippers' defense scored on a fumble recovery as well.

Defeated Woodbury 34-15.
Emilio Rosario-Matias led the Ponies with three rushing touchdowns.
Lost to No. 5 Shakopee (2-0) 28-21.
Lost to No. 7 Minnetonka (1-1) 28-14.
Defeated Farmington (1-1) 50-29.
Bo Bokman ran for four touchdowns as the Cougars and Farmington combined for 79 points. Farmington running back Jonah Ask ran for two touchdowns.

Lost to St. Michael-Albertville (1-1) 24 -21.
The Knights went on to upset the Tornadoes after defensive lineman Aaron Otto recovered an Anoka fumble for a touchdown to take a 24-21 lad with 3:51 remaining in the game.
Lost to Waconia (1-1) 35-7.
Waconia quarterback Kaden Herman found wide receiver Owen Hiltner in the end zone twice in the first quarter to build a 14-0 lead that the Wildcats never relinquished.
Defeated Monticello 24-6.
Quarterback Chase Thompson threw two touchdown passes in the win.
Lost to No. 18 Elk River (2-0) 50-14.
Defeated No. 17 Brainerd (1-1) 50-14.
With Mankato West and St. Thomas Academy losses and a big win over Brainerd, Elk River is back as the top contender in Class 5A through two weeks. Five different Elks ran for touchdowns in the runaway win.

Defeated No. 20 East Ridge (1-1) 22-18.
A 65-yard touchdown run by sophomore Mack Jurkovich gave Forest Lake the late lead and the win.

Kevon Johnson ran only five times, but he finished with 154 yards and three touchdowns.

Defeated Minneapolis Southwest (0-2) 42-12.
Sophomore quarterback Beckham Van Voorst threw for three touchdowns in the second, and added one more in the fourth, in the blowout.
